DESCRIPTION: Basically he is always on the radio being obnoxious and looking for work. He will not apologize for talking nonstop to you.
DESCRIPTION: A large kitschy maneki neko bank. Just slip your letter into the hole on the back of the cat's head.
Private Channel, backdated to afternoon of day 90
In the meantime, though, he does remember an agreement he made a couple days ago.
His voice is quieter than usual, audible even through the crackling radio, but he's at least understandable.]
Hey.
Guess I ended up yelling at someone after all.
no subject
...Are you okay?
The truth.
no subject
Maybe.
I don't know yet.
no subject
What happened?
no subject
I found... [No, wait.] Foster found me. He came to me, he said that... apparently he was trying to prove some kind of a point? By stealing the mushi tobacco.
[His thoughts on the subject are still a little jumbled, but he's working it out, a bit at a time.]
He... he didn't think I should be using it, or something like that.
no subject
Why? Did he say?
[In the end it's all he can say.]
no subject
[He trails off, his fingers curling into a loose fist.]
He said I was just distracting myself from my reality. Something like that.
no subject
What the hell does he know? Does he know anything about your life or mushi.
No! Of course not.
He can't know.
[It made him so... So angry. Foster's completely disrespectful way of deciding what was best for everyone while completely disregarding himself.]
That man's... Sick... Don't listen to him, Ginko.
no subject
[He doesn't sound terribly convinced. But then again, nothing Ginko says is coming out particularly convicted right now.]
...Just feel like I could've handled that better.
[Ginko doubts he could actually have changed Foster's mind, of course. But maybe he could have said something different, something that wouldn't have upset him so much.]
no subject
He shouldn't even be here Ginko. He's too sick to be around normal people.
no subject
[He doesn't know what it is, and... he's not sure he's got it in him to try to find it. But it must exist.]
...Hmm. [He doesn't say anything else to that, doesn't agree or disagree. Maybe Psi is right, maybe not - he can't say for sure either way.]
no subject
Don't be mad at yourself for shouting.
[That's what he was trying to say, what he should have been trying to say.]
no subject
no subject
..This isn't your fault, you know that. Right?
no subject
[It may be because of him, but he does at least realize it's not his fault.]
...How're you doing, by the way? I hope you didn't get too... affected by all that.
no subject
Worrying about you?
no subject
...I guess I'm asking how you're doing.
no subject
[He can't even find the pun humorous though. These last few days have been kind of a nightmare.]
I just... Don't like it when the Ringmaster has to get involved.
Her sense of justice is different than ours.

[Though seeing RM in her wrathful judge mode rankled him badly. Too close to a troll's sense of judgement for his liking.]
...Doing things the human way is enough most of the time though. I guess I'll just have to be happy with that.
no subject
[He can't say for sure what 'the human way' would mean here, specifically - or, more to the point, what the alternative would entail. But he can guess from context that he'd probably find the 'human way' preferable.]
Doesn't mean we can't wish things had worked out differently this time, though.
[He doesn't even know all the details yet, but... if the Ringmaster got involved, he can't imagine the results are very good for Foster.]
no subject
[Everything just felt gloomy and hopeless lately, and this incident hadn't helped. Of course Joker's weird behavior was weighing on him as well.]
[Really most everyone he knew was miserable because of one thing or another lately. It was getting harder to be cheerful for the newbies lately. Unfortunately as far as solutions went Psi didn't have many thoughts.]
I...
[He doesn't even say it to Ginko, his hand not holding the button on his radio firmly enough for the words to come through. It's something he normally wouldn't say to anyone, but he'd decided to give Ginko a kind of moirail test run as it were, and this was definitely the kind of thing he'd tell a moirail, if he had one anyway.]
I just wish there was something I could do to help.
no subject
[That sure is a thing for Ginko of all people to be saying. But right now, it's all he can think of.]

Sorry.
I don't know. At least it... it didn't end as badly as it could have.
