The Psionic is a rebel from an alien world who found himself at the carnival after being captured and imprisoned. Although he was at first tricked into joining by partaking of the apparently free food, he is now a willing member and supervises the labor department. He cares about all the workers under his care and considers protecting them to be his number one responsibility. He is generally flirtatious with a crude sense of humor and rather than solve problems he prefers to pretend they do not exist. Since game start Psi has been grappling with the knowledge that he has a duty to his homeworld friends to return and continue helping with the rebellion and the knowledge that he really doesn't want to. He wonders if it would be selfish to stay with the carnival, or if there is a way to 'fix' his planet without having to go back. He's also been avoiding making any strong romantic relationships here because of the possibility that he might one day leave, which makes his developing crush on coworker Ginko pretty dumb. In the Matrix Psi tried to help the rebellion. When workers were attacked by the Matrix's agents he blamed himself for trying to get involved. After the matrix he and the other supervisors were surprised to discover a cursed mark burned into the ground of the carnival, left by enemy vampires. Psi argued that they should destroy the mark, but ignore any thoughts of retaliation. Others argued against him. In Atlantis Psi wanted to protect the Ringmaster when she became mortal. He also bought a ton of ridiculous shit.
